Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Release - The Changes You Need to Know!

Card Changes

The classic yellow borders on Pokemon TCG cards will move to the silver border used in Japan. By doing this, the game is now rendered consistent across all continents and displays the artwork in its originally intended border. For greater clarity in players' hands, the subcategory of Trainer cards (Supporter, Stadium, etc.) will be relocated from its current position on top right to one on top left. The Scarlet & Violet series of Energy cards has revolutionized the playing experience. Now, each card features a prominent name and tag for the Energy type at the top, with its associated symbol located in the bottom right corner. Additionally, expansion symbols displayed on past cards are replaced by codes at the bottom left side to make it easier for players to distinguish between different types of energies attached to their Pokémon!

Product Changes

To make packs of Pokémon cards even more exciting, every booster now boasts three guaranteed foil cards with a rarity higher than 'Rare'. On top of that, some products will come with extra treats like the Elite Trainer Box including an additional booster pack and full-art promo card! Boasting an impressive selection of over 190 cards, 10 new Pokémon ex and a reimagined take on the classic game mechanic, Tera Pokémon ex with their dazzling crystal-like aesthetic, more than 30 Trainer cards featuring special illustrations - all in one set!
